I think it's close with Barrasso. He has two cups like Quick, but I think when Quick's history is finished he will go down as the best. His 2012 performance in the playoffs is probably the most dominant performance of all time for any goalie, with exception to maybe Hasek when he won the Gold in the Olympics.

Barrasso had Super Mario....Quick was the better goalie or is in my opinion.

Barrasso won 2 cups when Mario had like 17 or 18 goals in the playoffs each season.....Mario played great in 91 and 92 in the playoffs.....One of those playoffs he had over 40 points don`t remember which one.

Quick with all the Kings went through with their runs, can't say he had a stellar defensive group other than Doughty and he was solid throughout and your right he's not done yet

Nice list Reno but Ben Bishop is a glaring omission from your list. When all is said and done he could be the best of all. What he was able to do in the finals with a groin tear is really amazing. Considering his size, mobility, and the young/talented team he plays with you can be sure he’ll post numbers comparable to Quick.

I was seriously thinking about putting Bishop on there. I think he's the number two American goalie in the league right now and will go down as one of the best. Just thought he was bit new to the league still.

Quick for now

See what happens with Gibson and Bishop

Gibson's another good fairly new goalie. Is it just me or have American goalies of the past been pretty mediocre?
